Through the portrayal of a girl student who studies hard with a book in her hand on her way home, the painting artistically shows the ardent passion of our youth and students to prepare themselves as reliable scientific and technical talents of the country by studying hard in hearty response to the Party's idea of building a country powerful with science and technology and rich in talented people.
Through the depiction of a salvo of multiple rocket launch systems, the work powerfully shows the spirit of the invincible Korean People’s Army that if the enemy dares to invade even 0.001 millimetres of the territorial land, air and waters of the DPRK, it will mercilessly punish him, whoever he is and wherever he is in the world, staking the dignity and honour of the country.
Before their country’s liberation the Korean peasants had to live as servants or sharecroppers because they did not have land. Through the portrayal of the KPA artillerymen who are hugging each other, filled with boundless joy, honour and delight after winning a shooting competition, it clearly shows the burning enthusiasm of the KPA soldiers who devoted their sweat to the training in hearty response to the Party’s slogan “Training is also a battle!” and their invincible mettle of smashing the stronghold of the enemy at one stroke.
Through the portrayal of a farmer and his family who are smiling proudly looking up at the flag of the Republic raised over their straw-thatched home, it depicts the ideological feeling of the Korean people who were picturing a worthwhile new life in their mind, filled with boundless gratitude to the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung for having given a genuine people’s country to them who had been exploited and oppressed in the past.
