The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea has a well-regulated educational system of finding out and training those children who have unusual musical talent systematically under the direct concern of the Party and the government. The institutions for giving early musical education to children including Kyongsang, Taedongmun and Changgwang kindergartens train them according to their artistic talent from their kindergarten days, and all conditions are provided by the state. Thanks to this superior educational system and environment, the talent of children is improved day after day, in the course of which numerous world-famous art talents have been produced.
