The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea has established a well-knit system of art education, under which the children of ordinary blue-collar and white-collar workers give full play to their hope and talents.
Under this system, many kindergartens like Kyongsang Kindergarten and Taedongmun Kindergarten, and primary, junior and senior middle schools operate their art clubs to scout out prodigies and cultivate their talents.
Central and local arts universities and schools like Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun Conservatory have made successes in their effort to train a larger number of arts talents and international competition winners.
Today the country’s art education enjoys its heyday of development under the meticulous guidance and concern of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the government, and it also provides a firm guarantee for training reliable reserves of the Juche music and art.
