Introduction
On the occasion of the April spring holiday the 34th April Spring Friendship Art Festival is to be held from April 1 to 30, 2026, in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
It will draw famous art, dance and acrobatic troupes from over twenty countries and overseas Korean art troupes.
The festival organizing committee decided to examine the videos of performances given by art troupes and artistes and broadcast those highly appreciated on the Korean Central TV, edit in various forms the congratulatory speeches made by figures of the cultural and art circles around the world and the performances and preparations by the participants in the festival and give wide publicity to them on such websites as Korean Art.
The 34th April Spring Friendship Art Festival will be a significant occasion in promoting friendship, unity, cultural cooperation and exchanges between countries around the world.

Mission of the April Spring Friendship Art Festival Fund
Affiliated to the Korea Art Exchange Association, the Fund is a non-profit and non-governmental organization registered as a corporate body of the DPRK with its office based in Pyongyang.
It regards it as its mission to ensure that the April Spring Friendship Art Festival, which is held traditionally under the ideals of independence, peace and friendship, develop into a worldwide art gathering conducive to the promotion of exchanges and cooperation in the art and cultural sector with many countries around the world and development of art and culture of individual countries and humankind through multifaceted international cooperation and funding activities in the organization and operation of the festival, including invitation, publicity and performance, etc.
The April Spring Friendship Art Festival Fund encouranges wide-ranging international cooperation and fundraising necessary for the successful organization of the art festival with a view to developing the traditional event into a global art gathering conducive to the promotion of international exchanges and cooperation in the field of culture ＆ art and the development of culture ＆ art of individual countries and humankind as a whole under the ideals of independence, peace and friendship.
