The lunar New Year’s Day has dawned on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea that brims over with the Juche character and national identity.
The streets and villages built splendidly in different parts of the country under the care of the motherly Workers’ Party of Korea are decorated with festive colours and national sentiments and aroma are flowing everywhere.
Cute children in beautiful traditional garments offer lunar New Year greetings to their grandfathers, grandmothers and parents.
The streets and villages are colourfully decorated with illuminations and neighbourhood-serving amenities are welcoming the guests. The people are enjoying themselves playing folk games such as yut game and Korean chess.
