April has come, when the people’s yearning for Kim Il Sung, eternal President of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, grows stronger.
  As they greet his birth anniversary on April 15, the most meaningful and auspicious holiday, all the Korean people cherish deeper the precious iron truth that the day will guarantee forever the victory and prosperity of their socialist country and the worthwhile life and happiness to be enjoyed generation after generation.
  Kim Il Sung, whom they acclaimed as their leader for the first time in their history spanning five thousand years, was a gifted thinker and theoretician, an ever-victorious iron-willed commander, a peerless patriot and founding father of socialist Korea, who ushered in a new era of prosperity of his country and fellow people and devoted his whole life to bringing happiness to them.
  The Korean people will steadfastly defend his exploits, glorify forever the revolutionary gains achieved at the cost of blood, and accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche under the leadership of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
