The April Spring Friendship Art Festival is a biennial international event that is held in Pyongyang, capital city of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, on the occasion of the greatest national April holiday.
  The Festival Organizing Committee conducts careful deliberation and selects excellent artistes and art troupes among the applicants from Russia, China and other countries.
  The spring festival, which is based on the ideals of independence, peace and friendship and adds significance to the April holiday, will continue to be held amid the great support and interest of the world’s progressive peoples.
