The Korean people greet the 80^th anniversary of national liberation at the time when they are making the revolutionary advance towards a new era of building a prosperous country, full of courage and confidence in sure victory under the leadership of the great Workers’ Party of Korea.
  August 15 is a historic day when our people achieved national liberation after putting an end to the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists.
  On the occasion of this significant day, they are paying the highest tribute to the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung who won back the country by fighting bloody battles against the Japanese imperialists and laid everlasting foundations for the prosperity of the country by dint of his outstanding leadership ability.
  The Korean people will vigorously struggle for the victory of building a socialist power, following the Workers’ Party of Korea for ever under the unfurled banner of the revolution which fluttered in the forests of Paektu.
