The wartime song sings of the feelings of kinship between the Korean people and the soldiers of the Korean People’s Army in the days of the Fatherland Liberation War.
  Immediately after the song was created, it was widely sung in the trenches on the front and at factories and rural villages in the rear, giving great encouragement to the soldiers and people.
