A national calligraphy festival opened at the Pyongyang International House of Culture on April 9, 2025 to celebrate the 113^th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
  Presented to the festival are more than 250 calligraphic pieces created by calligraphers and fans.
  The festival will serve as a significant occasion in glorifying forever the sacred revolutionary career and immortal exploits of Kim Il Sung and inspiring all the Korean people with faith in sure victory and courage in their struggle to exalt this significant year as a year of great turn under the leadership of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
