The Eleventh National Pencil Drawing Festival took place in celebration of the 84th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Presented to the festival were more than 390 pencil drawings of divers themes and forms created by artists, amateurs, students and children in different parts of the country.
On display at the festival venue were drawings dealing with the immortal exploits of the Chairman who devoted himself for the good of the country and people throughout his life.
Among the exhibits were drawings reflecting the people who enjoy a happy life to their heart’s content in picturesque villages, the precious fruits of the regional development policy, which have been built across the country year after year under the leadership of the great Workers’ Party of Korea.
The festival served as a significant occasion for injecting vitality into the struggle of the Korean people to usher in the era of comprehensive prosperity and development of Korean-style socialism more vigorously and steadily under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
