A national book and art exhibition took place at the Korea National Art Museum to commemorate the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
  On display at the venue were more than 10 000 kinds of books, including those dealing with the glorious revolutionary history and immortal exploits of the WPK which is ushering in a new era of building a Juche-oriented revolutionary party and powerfully leading the great cause of building a rich country with a strong army, books on art and literature and books on science and technology.
  Also exhibited there were the art works reflecting the miraculous successes achieved in socialist construction during the eighth term of the Party Central Committee and the new civilized life of the Korean people.
  An oil painting Implanting the ideal and spirit of Party Founding, a Korean painting Absolute might for defending peace and other art works showed the enduring exploits of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who has ushered in a new heyday of strengthening the whole Party with his outstanding ideas and gigantic leadership practice and consolidated the absolute might for everlasting prosperity of the DPRK and the dignity and wellbeing of the people.
  Sci-tech books, sculptures, craftworks and calligraphic works left a deep impression on the visitors as they would help working people and students and children enrich their cultural attainments.
