Dance I Can Still See Victory in the Revolution

Art Works / Performing Art /   Dance I Can Still See Victory in the Revolution
Set in the period of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle organized and led by the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, the work depicts Choe Hui Suk, an anti-Japanese revolutionary fighter who was unexpectedly arrested during a combat mission but resolutely fought to the last moments of her life.

Although Choe Hui Suk lost her eyes in the brutal medieval torture by the Japanese imperialists, she did not abandon her revolutionary principles and died a heroic death, shouting “I have no eyes, but I can still see victory in the revolution”. Her noble fighting spirit makes the younger generations cherish the revolutionary faith of Mt. Paektu more firmly.
