Amid the great expectations and interest of the world’s progressive artistes, the 32nd April Spring Friendship Art Festival will be held in Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, between April 10 and 20, Juche 111 (2022).
The festival, whose history spans 40 years, aims at developing friendship and unity, and exchanges and cooperation among the artistes of the world on the basis of the ideals of independence, peace and friendship.
Unlike the previous rounds, the current round will be held in the way of presenting on TV and Internet video recordings of performances by artistes of 63 individuals and groups from 28 countries of the world.
Vocal, instrumental, dance and acrobatic works will be staged in the festival, and the awarding results to those that showed extraordinary skills will be publicized through our website.
We hope that songs of independence, peace and friendship will resound all over the world.
