Pak Han Gyu (March 2, 1919 –February 14, 1992) composed many famous songs and made great successes in bringing up new composers.
  His representative works include Ode to Marshal Kim Il Sung, Song of Proclamation of the People’s Republic and Song of Coast Artillerymen.
  He is still loved by the Korean people as a talented composer with individual characteristics.
