A basket of flowers in the name of the Organizing Committee of the 34th April Spring Friendship Art Festival was laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill on the occasion of the opening of the festival.
Written on the ribbon of the flower basket were the letters reading “We extend the best wishes of immortality to the great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il”.
Also laid before the statues of the great leaders were baskets of flowers in the name of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, the Primorsky Krai Philharmonic of Russia, the State Academic Russian Folk Choir of Ryazan named after E. Popov, the Lao National Art Troupe, the Lao National Circus, Russian singer Sergey Voytenko, Korean soloists resident in China, and Cui Jie, general manager of the Liaoning Sobaeksu Culture Diffusion Co., Ltd of China.
